Iron, manganese and other heavy metals in water can cause problems such as:

• stains on walls, baths, showers and tiles
• damage to plants and soil
• bacterial growth that clogs pipelines
• problems caused in dairies

Exfetron has been developed as a supreme anti-oxidant capable of removing these metals from water by means of oxidation. The media used has a long life span (10 – 20 years) and only requires frequent backwash.

A 100 and a 150 low pressure Exfetron iron removal filter with manual backwash can be used. Where high pressure is applicable, an automatic backwash filter housing is required.
